Captain Planet

Captain Planet is debatably the shittiest superhero of all time.

Destroyer, "Savage Night at the Opera" (VIDEO)

From the album Kaputt, easily in my Top 5 albums from 2011 (so far).

James Blake & Bon Iver, "Fall Creek Boys Choir"

First leaked track from the upcoming collaboration between two universally celebrated Indie gods. The album is sure to be hyped beyond belief, so just try to listen to the music as it purely is without all the salivating/slandering blogger bullshit swirling around it.

Extreme Bros

This looks like a great time - not sure I'd participate, but I'd watch.

M83 is Gleaming the Cube

Gleaming the Cube is just one of those late 80's movies I watched a hundred times during my childhood. Similarly, M83's new song, "Midnight City," is just one of those songs I plan on listening to at least hundred more times during my adulthood (unlike childhood, adulthood does not segue into something else, only death. Deal with it by listening to good music).

Weekend Vacation

World Records Are Just Fucking Ridiculous Now

I mean - look at this shit. Are you looking? LOOK AT THIS MAN.

NEW MUSIC: Active Child, You Are All I See (Album Stream)

Been looking forward to this album for a while after hearing a few songs a while back. Stream the shit out of it, in all its majestic glory, above.

Short Escalator

Not sure what's more retarded - the existence of this escalator, or how people look going down it?

Milo & "Otis"

This video mashup of Watch the Throne's "Otis" with the 1986 classic (?) Milo & Otis has been making the rounds on the interweb. I actually think this is a pretty poorly edited mashup that rarely attempts to sync the song with the video (and I am also not what the kids call "into rap"). So why am I posting this? Milo & Otis are very cute that's why, and I haven't thought about them since 1986. And also: RIP Milo & Otis (who are 100% dead right now).

Before They Were Famous

Sarah Jessica Parker seems even more insufferable as a broccoli-headed child at 1:45 (even the dog is offended by her smugness and he's wearing fucking glasses!).

Captain Not Very Awesome

His hubris is his undoing...and it's what makes this hilarious.

This is Just a Solid Performance

I'm sure this child is doing just fine today.

You Will...Actually, You Are

In 1993, Tom Selleck predicted the future. I wonder if he was also able to predict his own unemployment.

Gold Medal Kidnap

Is this racist? I don't think it is, at least, I'm certainly not trying to be - this is just funny. I refuse to apologize. Stop telling me how to feel.

Barney Frank sums up the country's feelings about the general state of the nation (hint: it stinks).

Mid-Life Crisis

Really not sure what to say here. The Rebecca Black of 55 year-olds? Watch the Throne? Ugh, America is just often the worst.

Tom Green Works on Some New Material

For a time, Tom Green was the funniest person on the planet. For a brief time.

You Wanna Pizza Me?

I like how the cook shakes hands with the greasebag spokesman at :15 then resumes throwing a pie around sans hand-washing. Also, Paolini's looks like a fucking shithole.

Snow Dogs vs. Chilly Dogs

Both just really great movies. Not sure who wins here. Know what's funny? These two brilliant thespians (one is an actual Oscar winner, sadly) were in the same movie, Chill Factor.

Kids Say The Darnedest Things #487

I'm not sure, but I think this is child abuse.

Hipster Pinball (I Dislike All of These People)

So this is what hipsters are doing with all their fucking time.

Exclusive Sneak Peak: Jay-Z & Kanye West's "Watch the Throne"

Benny Hill theme aside, the best part is when he quickly gets his shit together at :40.

The Simpsons as Glitch Art

Glitch art has become popular over the last few years (here's a personal fave). I know this because I'm what the kids call "a guy who looks at the internet a lot." This "piece" (UGH) is kinda cool...I guess. What is art? What is cool? Like, what if we're the aliens, man? Y'know?

Mocking Movies

Like MST3K (and I believe some of the guys behind that are behind this).

Steve Sax

Gets really good at :40.
